KIM WILD

Kim Wild is an artist who lives in Wivenhoe, Essex.

For over 30 years, his work has captured the peculiar magic of the Essex landscape and its inhabitants. Constantly evolving, Wild’s paintings and sculptures have traversed portraiture, abstraction and contemporary impressionism, often incorporating elements of biography, unexplained phenomena and the sublime. A current series focuses on the spectre of Robert the Doll in Wild’s life.

Wild studied at the City & Guilds of London Art School (Kennington) in the late 1980s before returning to Essex shortly after.
